Hark! Daughters of the great St. Paul
Come listen to his call.
O children of this loved school,
The loving nurse of all.
Rejoice in God, do work and play,
Be true from day to day.
Beloved school of mine,
My pains and joys are thine.
My childhood's early dreams
Are closely linked with thee.
The hope that heaven brings,
Thou dost unfold to me,
Thou dost unfold to me.
Sweet are the days of girlhood
When friends we love and care,
Those golden links of childhood
Whose sympathy we share.
Do stay and while the hours away
With us in work and play;
And when we leave our dear old school
These mem'ries we'll recall,
These mem'ries we'll recall.

SPCM President's Vision
During the SPCM Paulinian Alumnae Association of Manila General Assembly held on 7 December 2002, SPCM President Sr. Hilaria Suzzette Bautista (right) presented to the attendees her vision and plans for our Alma Mater.
Her many projects, aside from the ongoing refurbishing of the SPCM hotel which will be fully operational in February 2003, include the renovation of the chapel, setting up of a museum, and establishment of a campus-wide computer network. Her long-term projects are to go global, i.e., make SPCM an ISO accredited school and eventually a UNIVERSITY. She's clearly in step with the times.
She intends to accomplish these, not primarily by tapping the alumnae for donations and undertaking the usual fund-raising activities. Instead, she plans to generate income from the school, and from other business enterprises within the school campus, like the small de luxe hotel currently under renovation, a bakeshop, and internet cafe and other commercial ventures. These are examples of her many innovative ideas and entrepreneurial orientation.
Equipped with business acumen and unwavering faith in the guidance and providence of God, plus an iron resolve to lead SPCM to greater heights, SPCM is out to witness and conquer the world for the greater glory of God.
(From notes by SPCM HS'65 attendees Malu Reynoso, Nancy Guevarra Narciso and Carolle Chan Agbulos, as summarized by '65 webkeeper Maria Lansi-Cohon in www.geocities.com/spcm_hs65. Thanks!)

Looking for Paulinian Awardees
Subject: Please help . . .

To ALL Paulinian Alumnae:
We are in the process of documenting significant events in the life of Paulinians, including Awards received by alumnae from anywhere in the world for their contribution to the improvement or development of the community/society or to the stock of knowledge. These are the details we would need: 1) exact wording of the award citation; 2) date when it was given; and 3) name of the awarding body.
If possible, it will be most appreciated if these can be sent immediately in time for the SPC Centennial opening on 29 Oct 2003. However, this will be an on-going project for the archives in Our Lady of Chartres Convent Museum. They can be e-mailed directly to me or to Ms Deza who's in charge of this project at email@example.com.
Please pass on this request to every Paulinian you know.
Thanks and God bless .
